南瓜影院 will again be hosting acclaimed mime artist for a live, public performance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20, in Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre. 

"It Goes Without Saying," is a uniquely crafted autobiographical show in which Bowers shares funny, heartbreaking, and unbelievable true stories from his career as an actor and mime and his lifelong exploration of the role silence plays in all our lives.

Hailed by critics as the most talented and respected mimes of his generation, Bowers currently performs and teaches the art of physical storytelling throughout the world. 

Bowers is a mime who also talks, skillfully weaving silent storytelling, expressive movement, and spoken narrative. He combines classic mime techniques with modern sound effects and music and invites a wholly transformative look at the humor, pain, and beauty of the human experience.

He previously performed at 南瓜影院 in 2019.

Bowers will be working with Christian Boy's theatre classes. Boy is the director of theatre at 南瓜影院.
