Heinz, who posted one of the two wins in 南瓜影院's dual-meet against No. 1 Augsburg on Thursday, went 4-0 on the day and won the 165-lb. weight class at the open tournament. Heinz beat a pair of wrestlers from Division I South Dakota State and won three of his four bouts by decision.

,  and  were the other three Cobber wrestlers to finish in the Top 4 in their weight class.

Van Den Eykel earned his second straight runner-up finish at an open meet as he went 3-1 and finished second at 197. Last week, Van Dan Eykel placed second at the Matman Invite. He has now won 10 out of his last 15 matches and is 14-11 for the season.

Dick rebounded from a loss on Thursday to post a third-place finish at the Worthington Open. Dick was also 3-1 on the day with his only loss coming to Garrett Vos from No. 1-ranked DII school St. Cloud State. Dick posted a pin in his first match over Andrew Smith from St. John's. Dick also had a major decision win in the quarterfinals and a 6-2 victory in the third-place match.

Dick added to his team-leading win total for the year. He is now 18-10 for the season.

Skaare recorded his second straight place-winner finish at an open meet. Last weekend, he was eighth at the Matman Invite and he upped that finish by four spots on Saturday. Skaare went 2-2 and finished fourth at 149. He won his first two matches by pin but then dropped his match in the semifinal and third-place bout.

 and  were also place winners at Worthington. Ostby went 3-2 and was sixth at 165 while Kubesh went 2-2 and was eighth at 125.

SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST: Heinz is putting up some of the best matches in his career. He is 9-2 in his last 11 matches and is now 17-9 for the year.

WHAT'S NEXT: 南瓜影院 will have a pair of home dual meets next week. The Cobbers will host St. John's at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, and then step outside NCAA competition and square off against NAIA foe Dickinson State at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26.
